Why the slump?!

I think we're the only ones on here tonight!

I just spent the past hour making christmas photo cards for MIL. I made her 4 different options to chose from. I feel very special I was trusted with this task lol

I bet it feels special to be entrusted with such a special task buuuuuuuut I wouldn't know because my MIL is generally cold as ice. Which totally stinks. And I am the complete opposite...I'm like so touchy feely affectionate.

Very sweet of you to do and especially sweet that you made options so she could choose her fave!

Question for you...so we got married 10.30 and we're nowhere near being done with TYs. Should we hold off on christmas cards this year? I really want to send some out as its our first christmas as a married couple but I don't wanna be rude. I know this was a recent thread topic...but what do you think we should do? DH wants to hold off. booo.

I think people generally know that getting pro pics and thank you cards can take awhile, whereas Christmas cards don't require professional pictures.

We got married on November 13, and I just got the last of my pro pics yesterday. There is no way that I am going to pick a pic and put the thank yous together before Christmas. However, we started sending out our Christmas cards yesterday, and another batch are going out tomorrow. We didn't put a wedding pic of us though...because I thought that might make people wonder about the thank yous. We included a picture of our new kitten.

We will send our thank yous out right after the holidays. HTH!

Aww I'm sorry you don't have a good relationship with your MIL. I love my ILs!!

I would still send out Christmas cards!- I love sending them out. We actually used pics from our HM.

YUP - you helped a bunch! My thoughts exactly! Funny that you mentioned that you included your new kitten (LOVE HER/HIM hehe) little Slash was just snuggled up in a red blanky and I was like 'oooohhh that would make the perfect christmas card' but the little punk got up before I could lunge for the camera! Thanks again for spelling out the siutation for me...

Not a problem!

Awww that would've made a really cute picture!!! Getting my kitten to pose for a pic was insane. I had this perfect little picture in my head, but it totally did not turn out like that!

I *WISH* I was on the board way more while planning our wedding...I really wish I had the chance to get to know you guys then! BUT I am loving the NW scene...its such a special time and its so cool to hear what other people in the same boat are up to! I really adore hanging on the board!

Plus, I get dreadfully bored during the day. My job can get mega-lonley so the chit chat helps me stay positive and focused on the FUN of being a NW!

dh says hes getting me a rubber keyboard for xmas so he doesnt have to hear me typing. he just gave me the dirtiest look
