WHY WE LOVE OUR DHS TODAY.......

Its pretty stupid but DH isn't much of a facebook guy and I just posted new pics and I got a notification that he 'liked it'.

It made me feel special.

Anyone else???

That's so sweet!!!

I love my DH today because he made me laugh first thing in the morning and I'm the BIGGEST grump in the morning ... so hard to do. Put me in a better mood and I love him for it!

well DH went out & snow blowed all the 10 inches of wet heavy snow we have right now & I shoveled the walkway & a few areas @ the end of our driveway. when we got finished I told him thanks & that he did a really good job in which he replied to me 'thank you too b/c what you did really helped me a lot' - seems silly & simple, but DH doesnt say things like that often & meant a lot to me that he appreciated my help.

I <3 DH today because of all of the running around he’s done and phone call’s he’s made so that we can buy our house… calling mortgage cos, our realtor, our lawyer and finding all the paperwork we need… I haven’t had to do anything!

Dh wakes me up every morning by saying 'time to wake up love' and rubs my back...its such a soothing way to wake up and then when I respond he hits the snooze since I wake up earlier than he does

Here's a summary I just sent someone of what happened last night, and it made me laugh, so why I love him today:

so last night john rushed into city so as not to be late to my going away soiree (drinks at W hotel which turned into an 11 PM dinner on the UES...)

He parked the car at Stamford train station, which is walking distance from our house but he was in a rush so drove.

We take a car service home, but have it take us to the train station to reclaim the car from the parking garage. Except, no car. He was certain he parked on level 2, but it was not on that or any other level. We searched for about 20 minutes, but it was late, I was tired, he was drunk, etc. so we go home.

He realizes this morning that he did not park the car at the parking garage for the train station. He actually parked it in the Avis car rental parking garage (who knows how he got in there - he was sober when he did it, just rushing), in the area where you pick up rental cars. Now he has to figure out how to get it out.

Whoops.

And of course this happened with my car, not his.

Mine went on his lunch break in search of new food for my puppy because she isn't really eating her food.... and who can blame you. It was so cute, he called me from Agway in CT to make sure he was getting the right food. He is such a good daddy.

I KNOW! We are bracing for 1-2 FEET Thurs into Friday

Hoping storm is over by Fri morning b/c DH has to back into work @ 7pm Fri night

awww that is really cute!!

DH never gets super excited about anything, he just doesnt show it like i do! not that he doesnt get excited...

yesterday he goes babe we are going to be homeowners in 45 days! im like well about 45 days we dont have an exact date...and he goes on i thought that was the exact date...i wrote it on the calendar!
so i looked and 45 days from yesterday it say
'Jess and I close on our house'

LOL!!
little things like that get my excited!

I dont really post much, but I had to share my story. My DH has been away on business for a week and a half already, not expected back until Monday night. But every morning he send's me text messages of how much he loves and misses me. I miss him so much and those messages help me through.

Michelle - Bailey did this randomly when she was a puppy, kind of just stopped eating. We spoke to the vet, and she and others recommended mixing her food with rice and cooked chicken, and she'll eat all of it together. We did that for a while and then weaned her off of it and she is fine now.

Thanks, we are going to try mixing it with another brand the breeder recommended, and to wean her off this one. The breeder had her on Eukanuba when we got her, wet food too, which I would never had had a puppy on, but we followed the breeders suggestions. To be honest I hate the smell of it anyhow and consequently the smell of her poop so I am happy to make the switch. ln the meantime though I will try the rice and chicken thing tonight.
