Winter Blues....

Does anyone else have them? I just feel soooo blah with this weather. I'm tired of having to stay home and cancel plans. I was all dressed and ready for work but then couldn't even walk to my car with the ice. I saw an SUV slide on my block and decided it just wasn't worth it. I get so nervous driving in this. Now I'm just sitting at home feeling blah. LIW, please cheer me up

Ugh, I feel the same way. I'm not built for this weather. I'm tired of spending 20 minutes bundling myself every morning just to sweat on the train. I'm tired of leaving an hour earlier for work than usual and still showing up late. I'm tired of shoveling.

ETA: I guess I didn't do a very good job of cheering you up. lol!

The groundhog didn't see it's shadow (how can you when the sun hasn't been out for the past couple months) - so that little furry guy says spring is coming. I'm getting stir crazy in the house...need something to do that's outside but won't freeze my tukus off!

its totally depressing.
in one more month it should be better!! I think the worst of the season is almost gone... i hope!!

Yes, I'm getting really bothered this year....I feel trapped in my house.

I feel the same way and I hate it! I hate getting home from work and being stuck there all night. The worst part is that DH has later hours than me so I'm always home alone for a good 4-5 hours every night. I can't deal anymore.

I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling this way. Hopefully it's almost over ladies! I will never take the spring/summer for granted again!

yeah I'm depressed to. and the crappy weather is probably the reason I cannot feel any pain relief from my back. :(

THIS!

I bundle up and with all the work to hustle to the car and clean the car off and then run to the train I end up sweating lol!

Winter sucks. ESPECIALLY JANUARY. At least now we're in February. Remember winter is temporary and just about everyone has a bout with the blues, myself included.

Things have been rough for a number of reasons and the cold and snow have definitely made it worse. But with a little attitude adjustment and foresight that it's only temporary and hopefully it wont drag on ....

i hate when that happens!!

Think of it this way... we just got through this storm and havent heard about any new huge storms coming our way yet! hopefully we are out of the woods!! and if not, we only have 26 more days till march!

I definitely hate the winter, but it's almost over! It's got to be!

Maybe try heading to the gym or having a movie night with DH? Something to take your mind off of the cold!
