Re: Wisdom Teeth

Mine were impacted (had one side done at a time) and the first time I was swollen for days.

The 2nd time, I was back at work the next day.

I was fine the next day! But my bil took a few days to recover he was swollen.

The NEXT day. Holy!! I had 2 taken out a few years ago but one was impacted so it took me like 3 days.

This time its only 1 but the tooth has grown in alot so Im worried it might be painful again.

hmmm then i would schedule it for a thursday to be on the safe side!!

I agree Thursday to be safe. Maybe then you'll feel better by Sunday but you still have a cushion.

I still have to go back for my other 2. I was supposed to get all 4 out but I had a terrible abscess and I was so swollen already it took them an hour and a half to pull 2 teeth. I think the next 2 will be a piece of cake compared to that.

Re: Wisdom Teeth

i had all four taken out at once...

knocked me out, stitches, percocet, n all that fun stuff..

i was out four or five days bc pain med made me sick to my stomach and cant eat anything really to have energy...so i was nausous and exhausted all the time until i was able to eat some soft but real food

if you have an easier type of job you can probably go back sooner but if you have a physical job may want to take longer...

also depends on if you if drive bc certain pain meds say not to drive....

good luck
