Girls who had their wisdom teeth pulled how long did it take you to heal fully? And also-were you bruised at all?

i think I maybe have to push up this surgery b/c it has swollen to twice the size

I was lucky enough to only have two wisdom teeth. I got them both pulled last November and Im not gonna lie. It was prettty awful. They said it would feel better within like 3 days but Id say it took a full week before I felt better. I didnt ice it as much as everyone recommended and I think that would have helped.

Thats what I said!!! But I also hate the feeling of being cold and it hurts holding it there after a while. The doc only gave me a prescription for acetaminophen with codeine. And its ******. I ended up sticking to Advil and it worked much better.

BTW Peg everyone heals much different. Besides I would not sweat the one tooth.. I think it will be much better than what your experiencing.
We will put some makeup on it and I will hit the other side if it bruises so it matches

Thanks, I think everyone is different too-but Im going out for my bday next weekend and Im hoping that if I push it up I will be healed by then otherwise I will have to deal with the pain and hope the swelling goes down.

Thanks again

i had my teeth oulled on a friday and went to a party that saturday, i was in a little bit of pain but my doctor gave me perks. I had my top 2 wisdom teeth pulled and they put me to sleep. I had no swelling or brusing. it was more of a uncomfy feeling, i healed pretty fast, but didnt really eat much that weekend, mostly, pudding, jello, eggs, icecream, mashed potatoes

good luck

I had all four taken at once. It took me a good 10 days to heal BUT i was not in pain and NO bruising. My Oral Surgeon knocks you out and I seriously didn't feel or remember a thing. I took percocets for a day and then motrin for a few days after that.

I am sure you will be fine!

Good Luck!

I wont tell you how long it took to heal bc everyone is different but i WILL tell you that I waited too long to pull them out and I woke up one morning with a fever, a very swollen face AND i couldnt hear out of one ear!! GO ASAP PLEASE!!!

If you let it get too bad you have to get antibiotics until the infection goes away and THEN you will have to get the surgery!!

i had two pulled out at once, and then i had the other two pulled out at another time. I didn't have bruising at all, just the bottom teeth, i think ache more than the top. You bleed a lot, for about 2 days, u have to have gauze in your mouth, but after all this is over, u are going to feel relieved !! I promise!!! Good luck!!! and feel better:)
