Would This Bother U...
Your friend has increasingly become buddy-buddy with a person you just can not get along with, at all .. and unfortunately you all end up together much more often then you can ever prevent. (And for the record, this friend knows of the conflicts between you and this person, and has had her own problems dealing with this person as well, but is back on the upswing of this roller coaster ride).I hope that makes sense ..
How would this make you feel??

It's hard..I have a similar situation..my friend brought this person along on my bachlorette party..I just decided that I would be the bigger better person...I love my best friend too much to risk ruining our friendship over someone else..

Re: Would This Bother U...
I know what you mean. I always try and be the better person, but it's getting really old, really fast. No matter what I say to be nice, I get ignored or trampled on. I may start having to ignore her.

Re: Would This Bother U...
I would be mad at the friend that insists on having all of us together all the time. I can be the bigger person once in a while, but I would take it personally if someone was expecting me to be around someone I don't like all the time. I would probably start bowing out of the gtg's.

a little it wouldmaybe when she keeps inviting you along you can just say your busy that day/night or that the other person makes you uncomfortable so you would rather not go...

Re: Would This Bother U...
Thanks for the input .. but let me clarify a bit .. we're not ending up together because of fun, social outings. It's a work-related type of thing .. that's why we end up forced together, which can't be prevented.

Re: Would This Bother U...
it would bother me...knowing that my friend knows that I do not like the other person. I would have to distance myself from all of them!!

Re: Would This Bother U...
This happened to me before and I just told my friend to respect my wishes and not invite her along when we had plans. It worked out fine.

Re: Would This Bother U...
Yeah - that can be very annoying. I would try to remove myself from the situation as much as possible and explain it to your friend... hopefully she'll understand and see where u are coming from. Unfortunately, that may not be until her 'downswing' or a falling out with this person though so be prepared.

It would bother me, but since its work related and can't be avoided, I would probably learn to deal with it as difficult as it may be.Welcome New Vendors
