setup my meeting for our album for this monday and i am pretty much all most done writing out thank you's! So they will be sent out by our one month ann.
Anyway my question - we have 32 pics in our contract for our album I realize we need more then that so how much damage you think we are in store for?
What was your average of spending extra on your album?

You just got married and are almost done with your TYs ?? Oh boy, I just mailed mine out last week !
I haven't done my album yet, that's the next project and I think I'm going to go over.
Did you photographer give you a price sheet ?

DH's parent's added 26 pics to their album when we were able to get 50% off (first two weeks), and they had to pay $490. it's expensive!!! we wanted to add pics too, but decided we're just going wait til we get the DVD, then do our own album, so we'll eventually have 2 albums. our absolute faves are in the album patken is making us.

depends on your photographer. for us, it was $8 extra for each picture over our alloted 50 photos in the album. We ended up with 61 total shots. So not bad for us.

I would try and keep it at your number-maybe give yourself the allotted amount, all the pics over that seperate them-so that you have 2 piles...your 32 and your added ones, talk to your photographer and find out the cost per pic and see if that is really what you want to spend.

It definately will depend on your photographers pricing structure & how many photographs you want to add. We only added a few, it didn't cost very much, I don't even remember exactly how much.

yea i guess i should control dh - he wants like every family shot of his in the album and i tried to explain that i will design another album when we get all the pics on disk.
Grrr i don't want to spend a ton of extra money on it. I am working two jobs as is and he works tons of overtime and its like why to go to a damn album? hahah
