WOW....new film...

okay so first let me say this - PLEASE no drama from this thread. I DO NOT wanna be flamed for this...

so now that that's out of the way lol...i just wanted to post this...
i just got this movie trailer in my email and i think it's really REALLY interesting. Please take a look & if u watch, watch the entire thing. I actually think it's done in a very good way - LISTEN to the beginning...Ben Stein pretty much says ' I have NO problem with these beliefs as we're all different...i have a problem when people have a problem with mine and dont let me or my peers speak out about them'...(you'll know what i'm talking about when u watch it). So please i'm asking that no-one gets offended...because it's really not putting down ANYONE's beliefs...it's simply saying that 'if you're entitled to your beliefs & free to tell the world, then I should be entitled to mine & be free to tell the world'...so ANYWAYS, i know this isn't really making sense since u haven't watched it yet...so take a look-see I think it looks like it's an amazing film...may stir up some controversy, but if u listen to the real message of it - there shouldn't be any reason for defensiveness..WOW.

Wow, this is Really Interesting.
I then went on to watch Ben Stein's Interviews....
I would like to see this movie.
It kinda of reminds me of the Davinci Code....with the Beliefs.

Me being in Medicine, which relies on Science.... would find it Hard to believe that LIghtening Hitting a Mudd Puddle started life.....???

That movie looks really good. I had never heard of it. I will definitely be checking it out in February. It is snowing a little bit now I hope lightening doesn't hit a puddle and form some new people.

I like the way the trailer ended anyone anyone anyone ha just like Bueller Bueller.

wow, thats pretty interesting. I don't know anything about Darwinism, or whatever they called it, but I have an open mind, and I can't wait to see this. No one really knows where we came from, and everyone believes something different, so they all SHOULD be allowed to say how they feel, and show everyone what they have found. I'm glad Ben Stien used his fame to back this movie, b/c without him they would still continue to be shunned, and we are supposed to have the freedom of speech. And for those have already have a firm ground on what they believe don't have to watch it.

thx for sharing this link taryn. ive heard a lot about this topic lately and heard a while back that this film was being made. i read an article last night in fact about this whole topic...by a pastor talking about how harmful Darwinism is. im glad that this film was made, to shed light on this. i thinks its awful that scientists who believe in 'intelligent design' or even further... scientists who believe in God are shunned and told to keep their mouth shut. we are all entitled to our beliefs. Personally, Im not happy that Darwinism is taught in schools, but it doesnt scare me because I simply dont believe it and Im glad that we live in a society where my husband and I are free to clarify things for our children and to pass on the 'good news' to them at home. JMO.

I like Ben Stein, but I think his commercial 'reality show' involvement has turned me off to him in the recent years. He had me until he said 'anyone.... anyone?' another commercialism on his intelligence...

Very interesting film though. Personally, I don't believe in Darwinism... but reading about it and studying it fascinates me...
