WR question from a not-so-newlywed

WR question from a not-so-newlywed

hey gals!
my DH has to rent a tux for a wedding for memorial day weekend 2009.
i was a crazy bride who did everything early, so i cant go by my timetable from my wedding.

how many months in advance should DH go to get measured for the tux?

My dad got measured about 4 weeks before my wedding at MW Tux. And they were great to work with.

i'd think 3 mos is fine. i think that's about when my guys went for the tux measurements. if you wawnna be on the safe side--4-5 mos. before but i don't know if its necessary that far in advance.

i remember DH went in February for our May wedding but he went early they told him he could come in about a month to six weeks before.

honestly, my concern would center around the MEMORIAL day part and get measured a little bit earlier..

if he's IN a wedding though - the groom should be able to tell him - or in the very least - the bride should be able to give him a timeline!

my DH and his guys went 1 1/2 months prior to the wedding...

eta: He went to Sal's Tuxedo in Massapequa Park... early May for a June 27 wedding. We had absolutely no problems whatsoever.

I would say about 3 months.
I cant remember exactly when our GMs went

We kind of forgot about tuxes in the process...nice right? So by the time we thought about it, it was Columbus Day weekend, which was about 4 weeks prior to my wedding. DH got measured then but I think the rest of the guys went in about 2 weeks before. We used Rogers Tuxedo in Babylon and Dave, the owner, was awesome.
