WWYD?????

I'll try to make this as short as possible:

I hold an executive position on the Board of Directors of a Homeowners Assoc. I have received nothing but problems with an employee of the Association and my gut says problem will never get resolved. My executive position requires me to deal with this employee continually.

Do I:

A - Resign my executive position but remain on the Board, which will alleviate my dealing with this employee

OR

B - Resign completely.

I would choose A. If you really want to still have your opinions heard as a board member, then stay on...since your interactions with this d-bag will be more limited.

i'd do option A but why won't the issue get resolved?
Will you have a problem finding a replacment for your position? (we are dealing with this issue right now)

The issue may get resolved at some point, however, its been over a year with the same issue going on and everyone tip toes around this employee. I'm sure there wouldn't be a problem finding a replacement for her position.

As far as my replacement, wouldn't really be my problem, but I'm sure its doable.
