X-Post from LIF: Dh did something SO unexpected last night...

So mini-background:

DH's family business has been involved in a long, drawn out legal battle for almost 9 months. Its been draining on ALL of us and he has been tired and snappy every night when I get home. I've been feeling a bit down about it because we weren't being affectionate at all and its been blah. SO yesterday the battle came to a (positive) end! I was hoping things would be more celebratory at home but again DH was 'exhausted' and blah. So we get into bed, and like I sometimes do, while watching TV before bed I put my hand on his arm/side, just to maintain some physical contact. He asked what I was doing and I told him we're barely affectionate anymore, sometimes we go all day without touching once so I just wanted to touch.

Anyways, I turn over to go to sleep and when he turned off the light he snuggled against me and I was content. I fell asleep. About an hour later I rolled over in my sleep and the next thing I know I'm being woken up by him kissing me....and then in the middle of the night (like 1am) out of nowhere DH woke me up and...(this is where the BD icon goes )
And after he even cuddled me back to sleep! (SO unlike him)

Needless to say I woke up feeling great this morning!!
