Xmas before you were married- gifts- separate or together???

Did you give gifts to your family and his separately or together?

My GF says that it should have always been together gifts.

I know when DH and I were dating I gave my own separate gifs to his family. I saw nothing wrong with it.

Now that we are married it will be together gifts.

We've always given together -- and will continue to do so when we are married.

As soon as we moved in together we started doing together gifts.

We've always done together gifts- and then one little extra from just us to our parents.

Nothing wrong either way, I think it's a personal preference.
