I absolutely HATE to cook. When I cook...I turn into a maniac. I get mean and bitchy. I am the type that I need to know exactly how long it takes to boil an egg! Luckily for me my DH loves to cook. His father is an excellent cook, he is from Gyana and his mom is Dominican...so put them to gether and you have a very good lookin man that can cook many things!!!
I do cook occasionally...I am jewish so I make the traditional jewish foods but its not that good. Usually I end up burning my self or setting my hair on fire. So in the end....times are different now. Its ok for your hubby to be the chef!

I married a man with an Italian mama who LOVES to cook and entertaining is her life!

No, that doesn't make you a bad wife at all! I did the same thing before I was married, quick meals. DH is a great cook, plus he gets home earlier than I do so he does the cooking and he doesn't mind.

I happen to love cooking, and I especially enjoy cooking dinner. I usually cook 5 days a week, we have take-out one night (usually thursday's) and we go out on Saturday's.

DH cooks breakfast on the weekends.

My cousin and I are very close and she doesn't really like to cook and her DH doesn't either, but they figure it out. He complains about it but there's nothing he can do. HE LOVES HER ANYWAY!

She actually stinks at it.. He should be glad for the takeout..but seriously

I love to cook, I think I'm pretty good at it (insert pat on the back icon here) and I don't get to cook as often as I would like.

I don't think traditional roles really mean anything. You're good at what you are good at and that should be enough.

i hope not!! i HATE cooking and rarely do it!! my DH is the cook in the family...
plus he gets home earlier than i do so it is easier for him to do the cooking. i am also a little picky when it comes to what i eat, so i dont have a very broad range of things i like to cook!!! oh well...i guess he knew what he was getting himself into, right?!!
