I am so incredibly sorry for your loss! My heart breaks for you and your family. My DH is Colombian - I was just there for the first time in March. I know the guerillas out there are completely out of control - I am so sorry your uncle was targeted. My sincerest condolences.

Update. It gets even worse.. the guerillas knew they were comming.
See he and his exwife were getting back together and they had just built a new house. Everything was done even the new furniture was delivered. They were just waiting on the landscaping to be finished. The landscaper told him about some place to go and pick out trees or something from this store. He gave him directions on how to get there.. My uncle didn't know about the place and was unfamiliar on how to get there...Thats when the ambushed him. The Landscaper set him up.
