Honestly, it's almost a year later and yours was first...people will either not notice, or remember that you already did that! I wouldn't worry...

I agree, don't worry about it no one will remember. Chances are it's a different color too.

I don't think you should give a gift though if they didn't give you one, it's only fair.

unless your bm dresses were truly stand out, I wouldnt sweat it.

honestly, if this was BEFORE my wedding I would tell you to tell her to change them

but now since its AFTER my wedding I am so over it LOL I dont think that I would care

Your wedding was first so I think it will be okay and dont give them a gift LOL

I posted on the 08 board, but Tilde has a good point, I agree with. Your wedding was first.
Will others notice? Will other guests who attended your wedding attend hers?

Ok so being a fellow Indigo bride, I know that your dresses WERE truly stand out....BUT I think that will just make her look stupid for having the same. If it's just the same dress, different color, than I wouldn't care. Either way I would just chalk it up to her being dumb. People will remember yours!

if they are a different color then no one will know. My sis and I both used jcrew dresses and now my bff is too. But all of us have done different colors so we never thought twice about it.

Don't let it bother you. In the end, no one will notice or remember. And I agree with an earlier poster, if anyone DOES remember, she is the one who will look unoriginal and tacky.

if it wasn't the same color i wouldnt care in the slightest, but i'm pretty sure her message implied it was the same color. grrrrr :(

If it was before my wedding...yes I would tell her to pick a different dress in the same color or a different color for the dress.

Its after your wedding so i wouldnt really sweat it too much. Do you have identical groups of friends that all her guests will be the same as yours?

I dont remember any BM dresses from any of the weddings Ive been too, maybe color yes but no the exact dress. ive paid way more attention to the bride then anything else.

Look- I can understand where it *might* bother you... and this may be a harsh thing to say... but it might just be what you need to snap you back.

you're wedding is over.

unless it was someone like YOUR SISTER, who was going to have the same people at her wedding, etc etc...I really wouldn't let it bother me...

if anything just think of it as flattery. She liked your dresses so much she had to bite off you. Ah well... I've seen the same BM dresses at different weddings. Bill Levkoff is a popular designer. Its going to happen.

in all honesty i wouldn't care.

I wouldn't worry, only because your wedding happened first, so it might make her look bad for copying, but it wouldn't make you look bad.

in the grand scheme of things - its not a big deal at all. take it as a compliment. bigger things to worry about and it is practically a year later..

Agreed. And hopefully it is a different color! If its the same color and then she is defininetely a copy cat...but still nothing you can do. Also dont give a gift!

Even better write back 'Oh thats all right hun...oh and by the way we never got a wedding gift from you'

LOL - wow I am in a biotch mode today!

ITA with PegaLega and What on this one ...

I would only be upset if it was before my wedding and she did it knowingly.

Once my wedding is over, I don't think I would feel an 'ownership' regarding anything that I picked for my wedding.
