3.Preggos: Can do a secret preggo gift swap (I volunteer to be in charge of this)
Can i suggest something? it may be a terrible idea - but why not just do it as a full gift swap/secret santa thing for everyone? If you get someone who is preggo, you can choose to get them a baby shower type gift....if you get someone who's not preggo, then any type gift....
That way everyone is included![]()

how about the first week in august...not august 1st cuz i will just be coming back from vacation!
i can do august 7th or august 8th!
the 14th and the 15th are out cuz thats my anniversary and i was trying to plan a weekend get away...
the first weekend is the best for me! i can possibly do it the 21st or 22nd, butt my sil is due august 28th soooo if she goes a little early im going to be at the hospital...most likely they are scheduling a c-section cuz they did that for her first! so i will know for sure..but i dont wanna risk it!
september is good too!
oh and i totally volunteer my house! i def think its centrally located for girls in queens, and girls in suffolk...im in westbury/salisbury right by roosevelt field!
i will make lasagna!! LOL and maybe some sort of dessert too! lol i made my first lasagna a few weeks ago and it was banging!! hehe!

we can do it either way, just the pregos or with all the girls! im down for whatever the majority is!

I agree Gina's idea is awesome and lthere was just some confusion. I like the backyard idea! I of course don't have one so can't volunteer mine!
I agree with the swap for everyone. . maybe their can be two categories. .
1. Shower the baby love
2. Newlywed love (a house item, other gift)
that way everyone does get something. . all we would have to do is just have everyone write down what they want (kind of like we wrote down the things for the ornament) that way it can all still be a surprise and everyone feels the love!

positive im ok with that! i love to entertain!! and i havent yet!! LOL well besides the du-da-q, and that didnt even happen yet... but things like this gets me excited! i wanna do it!

I think that we should stick to the preggo swap being Via mail... Just because of some things that were brought to my attention...
And just leave the gtg as a bbq :) We will be so busy chatting we don't need gifts...
Again, I totally will be in charge of the preggo swap since I wont be preggo just fm me if you are interested in it. Again it will be done Via mail.
Sounds perfect!! that way if some of the pregos can not be at the bbq, they will still get to be part!

I think Jenny's idea is great, or the idea of having two gift categories works too.
Jessica I think your house is perfectly centrally located and its very nice of you to volunteer. I would be willing to help you set up in any way you need.
POTLUCK IS GREAT!!! But as we all have the same recipes now we should probably have a sign up sheet so we don't end up with 15 plates of macaroni and cheese or one of the great newlywed cookbook dips.

Ok sorry but I don't think I'm coming....this was supposed to be a shower...with potluck food,shower games,hats with bows,and a secrrt santa present swap for getting gifts....now we r all exchanging gifts????I don't want or need a gift I wanted to do something just for preggos.
