So happy - DH and I are going San Diego in a few weeks (I'm going with him on a business trip) and we managed to get a room at the Del! (the famous SD hotel where Some Like it Hot was filmed, as well as my favorite My Blue Heaven!)
We're staying at another hotel for the first few days, since that's where the conference is, and then we're off to the Del for our own vacation. It will definitely be a splurge (among the room rates, its $15 to self park your car each day, and $37 for brunch !) but I hear if you can swing it it's so worth it. I can't wait - the pictures of the resort and beach are gorgeous

ss - YES! But I heard just 1 room, not the hotel. Knowing my luck, that's our room and the only reason it's still available.
