I got news I was being laid off!!!!! I feel like I was kicked in the stomach!! Sorry to vent, but I'm actually supposed to keep this confidential at work! They are doing layoffs and for some reason want to keep it a secret? I'm so confused!!

I understand why they think it's better to tell you weeks ahead of time - but I honestly think it's better NOT to tell you. I was laid off too this month and not knowing was much better, I think. I'm a worrier and I would have been SICK over it.

I'm sorry to hear that, I was laid off this month too. Try to stay positive, I have had 2 interviews so far and may start work in a couple of weeks. I know it's hard to believe but sometimes there is a reason for everything.
I hope you get something with those interviews!! Good luck!!!

I am soooo sorry!! I remember when i got laid off - Oh My God, it was HORRIBLE!! I felt so confused and so lost in life. Sounds a bit dramatic, but that's how I felt. I just didn't know where to turn next. It felt like i needed to figure out the rest of my life at that exact moment But things DID turn out really good. If only I could see it then. Now that i look back, I'm sooo lucky that things went the way they did. And I'm being honest. I'm sure things will look up for you also. Hang in there
