Both of my favors went with the themes for my shower and wedding.

Tuscany themed shower - wine glass candles

Nautical themed wedding - sun catchers that are replicas of the deck prisms used on old sailing ships to transmit sunlight to the lower decks

Shower favor : Heart shaped tea infuser (my shower was at a tea salon)

Wedding favor: Bottle of wine from Pugliese (where DH and I got engaged) and an swirly shaped (I think it's called 'elliptical') wine stopper.

My bridal shower had a gardent theme so the favors were flower pens (which were also the seating cards), packets of sweet pea seeds (my favorite flower) and wine glasses with hand painted flowers (there was also a small wine theme added in there).

My wedding favors were shot glasses and bottle stoppers.

Mine was a CD of all of our favorite love songs and soft rock songs that had meaning to us. We also had personalized bookmarks in the colors of my bridesmaids dresses with a picture of me and dh on it and a beautiful thank you poem to all our guest.

Shower-MOH got candle holders with candles
Wedding-I gave out bud vases with a ribbon with our names and date attached. Oh and a rose in each vase.

Shower favor = frames my mom made in ceramics

Bridal shower was wonderful candles in Beautiful flowers that my Sister and Sister-in-laws put together.

Wedding favors were Lindt Truffles in a lovely bag ties with ribbons and a Snowflake ornament.

i personally can't stand favors of any kind. therefore i did a donation to the american cancer society and printed up scrolls for the guests to let them know. i didn't even want to do that but felt obligated to do something.

for my shower, my mom got wedding cake scented candles. they were cute but i guarantee everyone threw them out. mine is in my 'wedding box' of stuff that i don't know what to do with.
