Your New Last Name

Doesnt it sound funny when you say your new last name? As if you are announcing a whole different person.

i do feel weird, when i introduce myself with my new last name.

I always feel like I'm saying a fake name and that people won't believe me when I introduce myself. I'm not looking forward to the new school year - I feel like I'm not going to realize my kids are calling me!!

I feel the same way about the kids in my class! And my old students will always call me by my maiden name I'm sure!

my maiden name was 10 letters long now my married name is 11 letters long i still have trouble signing my new last name. my new last name is easier to say though.
