Girls who had their wedding featured in the newspaper, how did you go about this? I went to a few papers websites but can't find any information help!

Go on line and google the paper you want. There is a section that will tell you who to contact in order to get the wedding featured. The Daily news found some of us NW 's on LIW but there is a email addy to get you to the right person. Just b/c you would like your wedding featured it is really up to their discretion of the editors if they use the story and photo. It is not a guarantee. Good Luck.

i was in the NYPost and Daily News -- both times I got in because some staffers posted requests for brides on theknot.com.
for Newsday you just have to submit an announcement -- it gives you the instructions each sunday.

I was contacted by the Daily News through my wedding website on here. I think they just search the wedding websites for potential.

my mom did my, i think there a section in the paper, where the other married couple are listed and she said it tells you where to mail it in too

Newsday their is a phone number that you can call to get the paper to fill out and send with a wedding photograph.
Daily News their is a e-mail and then writers of that column will contact you by phone to interview you. Also will ask you to e-mail the photograph.
Long Island Advance I wrote the announcement and sent photograph to their offices.
