What was your wedding song and why did you pick it?
We picked Truly Madly Deeply. It was DH's choice. I didn't want to go with it at first but DH insisted because the song used to make him sick, but when he found out it was by my favorite artist, he started to really like it. He said he looked forward to hearing it on the radio from then on and that made it special.

'When You Say You Love Me' by Josh Groban was our wedding song. We had some trouble picking one because we never had a song that was 'ours' but we like to listen to Josh Groban and one day we just decided we'd use it for our first dance. It really turned out to be the perfect song for us.

Can't Help Falling in Love by Elvis Presley. I wish we had a good story behind it, but truth is we just both like the song a lot.

We had 2!
We picked 'Save Room,' by John Legend b/c I heard it and saw him sing it on the piano on TV for the Rocefeller Tree lighting last year.....and fell in love with this song. Coincidentally, we got married in Rock Center. Its just such a sexy song!
After choosing that, we felt we should go with something slower, and chose 'For Your PRecious Love,' by Kenny Vance and the Plonotones. I heard it before and thought it very emotional.
We couldnt' decide.....so we went with both!

'Better Together' by Jack Johnson. We picked it because we didn't want too much of a mushy, slow love song...that's just not our thing. We both felt like the song fits both of our personalities perfectly.

My DH picked it and told me to DL it.. I knew it was it when I started sobbing. It is so very us. I strongly suggest you DL it if you don't know of the song.. it makes me cry every time I listen to it.

Have your ever really- Bryan Adams B/c we thought it was the most sexiest song ever! The spanish guitar, the lyrics, everything in that song is beautiful!

we picked it the DAY before the wedding cause we couldn't figure out anything. so we were listening to the CD in the car and it came on and we just knew. i love the lyrics....so beautiful

'Thank You for Loving Me' - Bon Jovi
We chose it cuz Bon Jovi is one of two big reasons we met (the Yankees is the other of course)...and it's probably their most wedding appropriate. And he's written the lyrics in a few mushy cards to me...

When you say nothing at all-Alison Krauss and Union station. We picked it b/c DH heard it and he got all mushy and we talk but not always-we can look at each other and know what the other is thinking

'I Only Have Eyes for You' by the Flamingoes...
I picked it bc I had a dream growning up, dancing to that song on my wedding day and I KNOW that I was dancing with my DH in the dream bc I didn't see his face, but I was up against him and he was taller than me with dark hair... It was him and it was fate!!

'I Could Not Ask for More' by Edwin McCain. We started dating at the time when you would still make each other mix tapes/cds and we always put this on them. A few months after we got engaged we were listening to one he had made me and we just both agreed that it had to be our song.

'Here, There, Everywhere' by The Beatles DH and I are both big Beatles fans, so we knew we wanted it to be one of their songs..... Originally this was what I was going to walk down the isle to, but we both loved it so much we made it our first dance instead.

the words spoke to me, its short but very touching and no one has really heard of it so it was something unique. i knew right away yrs ago when i first heard it that it would be the one for us.

'Without You' Motley Crue Because I love the song...and it's performed by one of my favorite bands. I've loved Motley Crue since I was about 11. (gee..I guess that explains a lot of things)
