What was your wedding song and why did you pick it?
We picked Truly Madly Deeply. It was DH's choice. I didn't want to go with it at first but DH insisted because the song used to make him sick, but when he found out it was by my favorite artist, he started to really like it. He said he looked forward to hearing it on the radio from then on and that made it special.

It's not really a normal wedding song but DHs name is Bobby Magee so it was perfect for us. As soon as the band started playing it all our guests started cheering, it really set the tone for the evening.

We used This Year's Love by David Gray. We both really love David Gray and often play his CDs when we have dinner at home. DH doesn't really get into music much, but he really wanted us to use this song, so we did.

I picked the first song - sei la vita mia (its italian) and DH picked the second song - Bryan Adams and Barbara Streisand - I finally found someone - bc he likes it, and he loves Bryan Adam!

'I belong to You' by Eros and Anastacia. It was an easy choice...we wanted something that had Italian incorporated in it, we love Eros and we thought the song was beautiful.

More Than Love by Los Lonely Boys
It was just perfect for us!! The first time I listened to it I had to stop what I was doing (working) and just sit and listen to it, then I started to cry. Later I handed the CD to DH and said '#6'. He listened to it, looked up at me and said 'Yup'.
It was actually the first wedding plan we made!!

I COULD NOT ASK FOR MORE, from Edwin McCain. DH liked this song alot when I played it during the time we were trying to find one. We even praticed dancing to the song

I had my heart set on finding a song that no one knew. I love General Hospital and they had a song they played all the time for Jason and Sam. I found out the name of it and who sang it, mentioned it to DH and he found it for me on myspace So that became our wedding song

'love of a lifetime' by firehouse. i'm an 80's rock chick ;o) it was always our song while we were dating, but bon jovi is my fave band of all time, so it was a toss up between 'love of a lifetime' by firehouse and 'thank u for loving me' by bon jovi. my dh didnt want a bon jovi song as our first dance song [dunno why!] but i also thought making it our last dance song was even more special, because it would be like a beautiful closing to a gorgeous amazing wedding!
i also love the fact that back in the day [1980's] alot of people used 'love of a lifetime' as a wedding song, so i brought it back ;o)

We picked 'The First, The Last, My Everything' by Barry White.
We wanted a fast song for our first dance. We really wanted to set the tone for a PARTY!!! This song had the right beat and great lyrics -they were perfect for a first dance.

'Here, There, Everywhere' by The Beatles DH and I are both big Beatles fans, so we knew we wanted it to be one of their songs..... Originally this was what I was going to walk down the isle to, but we both loved it so much we made it our first dance instead.
OMG my fave! I desperately wanted to walk down the aisle to this one...but the church wouldn't allow any songs that weren't on their list.

Our first song was 'Feels Like Home' by Chantal Kreviazuk--it's also on the soundtrack of How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days,
FH picked the song and we just love it.

'Soaked' by The Argument.....they were an unsigned band that we loved to go see together...I loved that song when they wrote us and it became so us--it was an obvious choice for us!
