When we first met with the JK Band we expressed our desire for our guests to be out on the dance floor all night and boy did they deliver! Their diverse selection of music kept the floor completely packed all night and now, 7 weeks since our wedding, our guests are still raving about the band. They sounded unbelievable and learned our wedding and cake cutting songs for us. Our suggestion is to stay away from providing them with a song list, which is what we did, and let them do what they do best.

JK band was great. They learned our wedding song (someone to love by queen) and it was fantastic. couldn't be more happy with how it came out. I'm not sure there are any "nice" pictures of our first dance cause I'm belting out the lyrics through the entire song. Which, to me, is amazing. They were really interactive and got right on the dance floor with our guests. I did feel like Joel was a little hard to reach leading up to the wedding to confirm some details, which made me a little crazy, but it was all fine. I was likely just being a bit type-A controlling.

There are not enough words that can express how fantastic JK Entertainment was at our wedding in upstate New York last September. We have gotten SO many comments about how seats were just empty throughout the night because everyone was on the dance floor! Just amazing from start to finish. We had a 9 or 10 piece band play at the reception, 3 horns play at the end of our ceremony, and a trio play during the cocktail hour. Joel was flexible with us about staying within our budget while accommodating our musical needs. The entire band had a super energetic presence which set the tone for the entire evening, and they even learned a song for our fathers to sing last minute. This was the second time around for my husband's family who hired JK for my sister-in-law's wedding 7 years ago. All in all, unforgettable.

I cannot say enough about this band! My husband and I did A LOT of research into New York area bands because it was at the top of our priority list for our wedding. JK Entertainment was absolutely phenomenal. Joel was very helpful in the planning stages, giving us advice and helping us curate our unique sound for the ceremony. He gave us a song/genre list that was a good jumping off point for our requests for the night and he even learned a new song for us. He was also extremely helpful in planning out the timing of the evening and coordinating with the venue on when to serve meals, do speeches etc. which I found completely overwhelming and was so glad to have his input. The band rocked the entire night. We had a 9 piece band and a room with very tall ceilings and they had a rich full sound. We not only got so many compliments afterwards but 4-5 couples with upcoming weddings asked for their information to book them as well. I would recommend Joel and JK Entertainment to anyone who wants a great party!

Our wedding was fabulous and we all had a wonderful time. We wished the night would never end and the music would go on forever. Joel personalized our wedding and was extremely receptive to anything that we needed.
