Hi-
Photographer, Hall and church-- that is about it. I tried on a couple of dresses but felt really fat so I am not going to go back until I lose 10 lbs. Have you finished everything? I see that the 2004 brides ahve done more than me.

What we have done:
--Church
--Hall
--meeting with DJ this week but we are pretty much ready to sign with her...
--met with videographer a few weeks back, will probably sign with them too....
--meeting with a photographer tonight....
--ordered my dress on Saturday!!!!

I think the limos and flowers can wait a while. The next thing is the bridesmaids' dresses....

I'm September 20, 2003, I don't have much done just the church, reception hall and wedding dress. I have a lot to do.

Me, me, me, me, me!!!!! I am 9/26/2003. The day before Terrier. I have booked my reception hall (also where ceremony will be). Booked Florist, Videographer, Photographer and DJ. See profile for whom. I am working on Invites, Dresses and limos in 2-3 weeks. We are officilaly at the one year mark ladies!!!!!!!

I have the ceremony/reception site booked, my DJ, my pastor, makeup & hair, centerpieces, rings ordered, deposit on video & photography. Limo's I will get through DJ(that is his day job). I have an appt next Tues with a florist (friend of my SIL who did their wedding). I am witing to receive some invitation samples from another friend of SIL (also designed theirs). I did some shopping for gowns saw a few I like but haven't bought yet. Want to lose a little more weight first.

What do you have done?

I have the reception site booked, a meeting with the caterer tomorrow and an appointment with the church coming up! That is it!

september 21st and so far all i have done is the hall,churh,band,florist! weve looked at a few photo/video but havent decided yet! right not im focusing on a gown-have been to a dozen places and i seem to be ahving a problem...i found more then one. i like a few but i feel that something is wrong with me b/c you are only suppoesed to see yourself in one dress and i cant decide! so i guess you can say im a little behind on schedule

OK, well I am August 30th, but figure that is close enough to September

We have the church, reception hall, Photographer/videographer, DJ and I bought my dress. I am taking a break (what can I say, I am a procrastinator), but plan on starting to look at BM dresses next month sometime.
Its amazing that I feel like I have so much done, then see it in writing and think.....thats it??!!??

I have the BMs' dresses picked out, just need to order them. And I'm pretty sure I know which florist I will be going with. I was just holding off on that until I was sure there would be no problems with the church.

MY WEDDING IS 9/20/03. MY FIANCE AND I ARE NOT RELIGIOUS SO WE DON'T FEEL COMFORTABLE TO HAVE THE WEDDING CEREMONY IN A CHURCH. CAN ANYONE SUGGEST OUTDOOR WEDDING CELEMONY SITES IN LONG ISLAND WHICH ARE NOT TERRIBLY EXPENSIVE?

I think that most reception site are now set up to accommodate ceremonies onsite. Perhaps you can start to research your reception site, and call your top choices to see if they will accommodate the ceremony.
I know that my site, Port Jeff Country Club was able to accommodate the ceremony inside or outside, based upon weather or personal preference.
