I have a centerpiece question

in regards to the c-hour...are centerpieces used here? Are they included in packages or are they extra? It just popped into my head as I thought about centerpieces....

Re: I have a centerpiece question

I'm using votives and a little something else on the CH tables. I feel they are 1) too small for a CP and 2) people are just interested in the food at CH...so we've opted against CPs for the CH.

Re: I have a centerpiece question

Not on the tables. My florist put the centerpieces in the cocktail hour room, and they were placed all around the room on different food tables where there was room...and then moved into the reception room towards the end...

Re: I have a centerpiece question

We placed a centerpiece on the table with the seating cards only. I believe the other tables had candles on them.

Re: I have a centerpiece question

Hi Shana,

The c-pieces are included in our package.

I would think they will be set up before your ceremony, so you will have them during the cocktail hour.

Do you want more c-pieces around the food during the cocktail hour? Is that what you are asking?

Tara

Shana, if you want I can put you touch with my friend who I went to lunch with, who had her ceremony/reception at TP for a more detailed answer. Let me know.

Re: I have a centerpiece question

Tara,
I'm curious as to whether or not the CH tables (the smaller 4-5 person tables) get centerpieces also, or just some votives and maybe one floating flower. I know the big table out front gets one for the seating cards and that some centerpieces may be used on the buffet tables and then moved into the main ballroom for dinner.

P.S....I'd love to ask her some questions thanx

Re: I have a centerpiece question

TP centerpieces are included, but I don't believe they use them at the c-hour(it may be possible, but I think that it would be a problem to move them from the c-hour to the reception & I know you don't get a centerpiece . TP has little gold tealight lamps they use on those tables, but besides that I think its something you do yourself.

Re: I have a centerpiece question

Thank You Stavia...how do you know so much about TP? I was thinking of doing a lare bloom of a flower floating in a clear glass fishbowl or a shallow bowl and flower petals.....just to break up the monotony of all the white tablecloths.
