Just checking up on my fellow 04 Brides, wanting to see if any of us have done anything new and also just to say hi.

New things:
Brought my BMs each a BM hankie and a little BM book
Going to order 'Ring for a Kiss' bells
Found the dress that I want but I just need to go into the store and look at it

That is what has been going on with me.

My Fh cooks too and I'm so glad. There is no way I can do this every night. It's too time consuming.

For my FI's birthday I got him a cast iron skillet and a cast iron press. He was so excited. He is a wiz in the kitchen. I am so happy he can cook.

Yep Viv is my MOH. I will give you a FULL recap on Floral Terrace. The rehearsal is tomorrow and then its Friday! Can't wait...

Hey Marcela, sounds like your cooking was a success! Thanks to this thread I have advanced to a 'Board Enthusiast'!!!! It only took 5 months!!!

I actually need ideas for my honeymoon, my FI is afraid of flying, although he may be forced to get on a plane by yours truly. Plus, we won't have too much money for the honeymoon, at least not one out of the country, and we are both very fair skinned people and don't do well in the sun, so the carribean and hawaii is out. Any suggestions?

Wow, I wasn't on for one night and I missed soooo much.
Honeymoon: We are going to LA for a night, Hawaii: 7 day cruise, and Vegas for 4 days. I am so excited I can't wait

Jess: how about a cruise to Canada, Nova Scotia. I heard that its beautiful and romantic. The ships leave out of New York so you don't have to fly.
They are not too expensive either. If you need a travel agent I have a really good one (family) FM me and I'll give you the information

Marcela so glad to hear that your scampi went well. I printed the recipe for my dad and he said that it needs more garlic. We are garlic fans too! It is stinky but so goooddd and healthy.

I'm not sure my travel agent says we have some time to plan. The only thing I know is thats its a new ship and they are so much better then they were before. I'll find out.

We got engaged in July, and since then we have booked the hall, the photographer, bought the bubble favors and bought my dress. We are thinking about the DJ next. Anyone have any suggestions for the DJ? I have been hearing all kinds of negative things about DJ's, so I would like some opinions. Thanks!

Hi all 2004 brides! I went on the cruise to Canada and New England this past summer on NCL The Sea, it was HORRIBLE and I do not recommend it. The food was spoiled 90 percent of the time, the air conditoners did not work, the boat was run down etc. Another girl on this website went on it also and she said simillar things.
As for DJ's we looked all summer and found a good priced one and he does good work, if anyone wants his name and # Fm mail me.
It feels like 2004 is never going to get here!
We got another engagment gift yesterday! 6 pieces of our china!

Oh wow princess that is horrible. THe crusie ship i was talking about was a carnival i think...but thanks for the info...I won't recommend that anymore

Believe it or not I am going on another NCL cruise in February,(The Dawn) the only way I was going on it was if FH begged me, it is a brand new ship so I will post my review when we get back from it. The best part is that FMIL is paying for it, she is so insistent that I will like cruising, I told her this was her last chance to get me to like it becuase we originally wanted to go on a cruise for our honeymoon.
