Just checking up on my fellow 04 Brides, wanting to see if any of us have done anything new and also just to say hi.

New things:
Brought my BMs each a BM hankie and a little BM book
Going to order 'Ring for a Kiss' bells
Found the dress that I want but I just need to go into the store and look at it

That is what has been going on with me.

Thats so funny.

My matron of honor and the best man are married to each other and one of my Bridesmaids and one of the groomsmen is married to each other. My matron and best man married Oct 2000 and my BM and GM married Sept 2001 so both are newlywed and I am a recent engaged so our conversations are the same way. All wedding talk. It's going to be like a second wedding for both couples LOL!

So far we havent gotten tired of all this talk and we are all having so much fun

Wanda: I'm soo excited that you're going to be at Viv's wedding at Floral Terrace. I don't have to wait that long for the review!
When I first came to this site, she e-mailed me and told me about Floral Terrace. She said when her and her FH went to Floral Terrace they booked it on the spot because they loved it so much. She was one of the main reasons we went there. She's a really sweet girl.
I can't believe that she's already getting married. Time is really flying by!! It seems like just yesterday that she was giving me info on Floral Terrace.

Hello everyone -fellow 2004 bride, havent set a date yet but i am a teacher so I am looking for July or August.

04 bride my Fh is a teacher in NYC and we picked March becuase it is a good price and he is taking off a few days so we can have a 'mini moon ' in NYC, and then we are taking our honeymoon in July. Where did u look so far?
It is so exciting that 2003 is a few weeks away! Now when we say 2004 no one will say 'so long?yada yada yada...' ( not that we really give a darn anyway.... but it will be nice not to have to hear it anymore!)

I agree..when we tell people 2004 its only another year or so. we're hitting the 1 year and so many months part.....for me its 1 year, 9 months...(Sept 18, 2004)

Time is going to fly....we have all this time to do our searches and book our vendors and just enjoy the engagement...

I told people last night our date and I still heard you have plenty of time its in 2 yrs. No Genius its in 14 months! That is 450 days to be exact! And 24 months makes 2 yrs! People sometimes I wonder where their brain is sometimes...

Good morning fellow 04 girls...CW I hear that all the time...we are at the 18 month mark...we really don't have that much time...
Look we are almost at 300 posts...
I wonder if LIWeddings knows what we are up to...tring to get a place of our own too

I know. Everyone keeps saying oh you have 2 years but really I have less than 2 years, since 2003 is going to be here in 3 weeks. I just wish that people would stop asking me why I am waiting so long to get married.

Licia what materials are you using for the std's?
I am wondering how to attach the vellum to the petal paper without having a noticeable mark. I want to do a test run this weekend but doubt that is happening.

I havent desided yet.
First I was going to use magnets but I think that it may be too much work. I was thinking about scanning a few pics of me an my FH then making them balck and white or as a watercolor in the background then have the information on top...If that doecn't work then I will use vellum and tie a gibbon on top like some invites have...that may be less work. I think I am going to make some samples after the holiday to see which one is the best
