Just checking up on my fellow 04 Brides, wanting to see if any of us have done anything new and also just to say hi.

New things:
Brought my BMs each a BM hankie and a little BM book
Going to order 'Ring for a Kiss' bells
Found the dress that I want but I just need to go into the store and look at it

That is what has been going on with me.

I am not a 04 bride, but I want to make a major recommendation to you ladies... Here goes- Book your make-up artist early. I really wanted Jacqueline Nicole and my wedding is like 10 months away- the end of 03- and she is almost totally booked up. Such a bummer....Now I realize that it is like a good photgrapher, videographer, band or place... make- up artists can't be at two places at once. So... book it soon... You will be so happy.

FI's mom is a big wig RN in PA and I am sure I can get a recommendation from her for a make up artist. I am not too worried about that.

Not much else really to report. Just planning on what I am wearing to FI's aunts house for christmas

Okay, I had to get us back on page one, so here is my question, when is everyone going to get quotes from florists? I want to use Colonial florist in Bellmore, but I was told they will only see you 6 months before the wedding. I would like to know what flowers are in season, and also how much money we need to expect to pay. (Approx). My wedding is in March... anyone have florist suggestions that have done this already?

Hi Princess:
I know who my florist is going to be (same person that did e-party) but have not gone to get a quote yet. We'll probably go after the new year, because we have no time now. I expect to spend about $2,000-$2,500. I'd rather NOT spend anymore than that. If I can spend less that would be GREAT!!
As far as what flowers are in season in March, go to this website:

We're using Pavillion florist in Astoria. The owner is a friend of FH's family.

We know which florist we are going to use, but we are not going to go see them until Sept. of next year (which would make it a year before the wedding). With regard to the bussling of dress, I am not going to bussle my dress until after my first dance.

I also know pretty much which florist I am going to book for the wedding. On Monday I have an appt. to see my sample centerpiece for my e-party.
