I love the pew bow with flowers on it!.... hmmm have to see what my church says.
If we had a wedding before ours I would do the same thing-split the cost for the flowers in the church. However we are the only wedding so it can't work for me
Plus my church is decorated for Lent. Don't know with what. I don't even now if I can decorate during lent!... Another question to ask my church

With my church we are responsible for everything and there really arent many restrictions.

my FMIL said she would make the pew decorations for me which is a big cost saver for us.

not sure of what we are doing but I have been searching around for ideas and have seen some great stuff.

we are having a 4pm ceremony and so far no other bride before us. My church also does spaces between brides this way it gives each one a chance to do her ceremony and the next to decorate (11, 2, 4 are the only times available at my church for a saturday wedding)

Licia, Yeah I'd go for it. As long as the bride's 'vision' is in line with what mine is. I just want something simple and elegant. If you want something specific and are unwilling to change, don't do it. If you're flexible, I'd say go for it!! Good Luck and keep us posted!

Nothing new here either. We are getting some nice gifts for our engagement. This past weekend We got a beautiful lenox vase and lenox tablecloth.

That sounds really nice Licia! I peeked at my registry (I'm really bad) and someone got us a Lenox cake plate & server. This registry thing is pretty nice! What does your tablecloth look like?

The tablecloth is beige on beige satin with squares...I have it in white also

Wanda: Marnles booked with Coachman (and she's getting married this weekend, I think). There was also another bride who just booked, but I can't remember her name.

Girls: Wish me luck. LOL!! I'm going to cook chicken cutlet parm and shrimp scampi (because my mom doesn't like chicken parm) tonight. So say a little prayer that I don't burn the house down!! LOL

Marcela, it will be just fine. I have confidence in you. I love to cook but by the time I get home, it is to late for me to start cooking for my parents and sister.

Marcela: They do have them and much cheaper than another I was quoted. And Royalty said they were the only one! I know for a fact there is another limo company that carries them too. I swear these limo vendors--they are all about money making to me! They talk bad about each other to get your business.
