New things: Brought my BMs each a BM hankie and a little BM book Going to order 'Ring for a Kiss' bells Found the dress that I want but I just need to go into the store and look at it

We should make a recipe thread. Everyone in my family knows I need practice! I could use them as the guinea pigs. I registered for all these kitchen gadgets that I don't know how to use! That perfect pancake maker sounds like a good idea...

It would be great to be able to have our own place to go. We are all in the same time frame a relating to a lot of the same issues. Sometimes I feel that I shouldn't post to some of the threads because I'm not just there yet. We are all over the place on this thread. We need some order...

Lisa: Thanks!! The wedding was great! A little different than NY weddings, but still great. We had an awesome time. I'll post pics in a few minutes.
Jess: LOL!! I have to get myself a cook book too!! I'm going to have to get a regular one and a Greek one. I think my FMIL is preparing a little book for me. I don't mind cooking, the only thing I hate is that it takes so long. Maybe it's cause I have no experience and things take me double the time to make. everything LOL!! I'm so glad I'm not the only one that doesn't know how to cook

In addition to what the groomsmen did to the car, they hid in the bride and groom's hotel room. They bride and groom walked into their suite and felt that something was not right. The groomsmen were hiding in the bathroom and in the closets Then they stayed and ordered pizza and hung out with the bride and groom for another 2 hours. The groom is Cuban and it seems that this is a tradition. I personally would've kicked everyone out.!! LOL

Marcela, that car is too funny! Looks like it was a nice wedding. My FMIL wants to teach me to cook too, but I'm holding off right now. I'll let her eventually. I also told her that my FI needs to learn how to cook too!

She's a long time family friend. My parents met her parents when I was just born. So we grew up together till she and her family moved to Florida.

oh wow...thats great. I love to hear stories of long time friends. My BF and have been freinds since the 5th grade. She is getting married 2 months b4 me. We always seem to do things together.

Wanda, Yes they were real flowers. They were beautiful!! Very simple, but sooo elegant. Here's a better pic. I don't know why it looks like the flowers were falling down. because they weren't. They looked great. I think we're going to do the same.

Those are so pretty. We have a problem with the church. There is a wedding right b4 us. I don't think we eill have time to decorate. Do you think this is a good idea: I was thinking about asking the church to get in touch with the bride from the wedding before to see if we can decorate together...that way we will both use the decorations...offer to split to cost (with in reason). There will be no way to have the florest decorate inbetween.

Licia, I think that's a great idea!!! I have to call my church and ask about that. Our ceremony is at 3pm. I'm assuming we'll be the first ones, but I may be wrong.
