On slim down, there used to be a online support group that was started to keep up motivation and encouragement. It seems to have dissolved over time but since we 05 brides are still trying to lose those last few pounds before our weddings, I thought maybe we could give it a go here?
Is anyone interested? I would start the weekly update threads but anyone can post whenever you need a boost or feel like you need some support.

Re: 05 diet support group?
I know what you mean Liz. I was at the gym this morning and was soooo sore from my workout on Sunday that I wasn't going to do weights. After 40 min of cardio I got off the elliptical and saw a friend of mine there. I asked her what should I do... go home or do weights and she was like 'get your butt downstairs' hehe Im glad I did!

Re: 05 diet support group?
Ok - I've been in dire need of support these past few weeks...I have been so off-track with my eating and exercising. I haven't been able to get into a consistent routine!! I normally maintain my weight with healthy eating and exercising, but for the past month, I have been OFF TRACK completely - and prob gained about 6 or 7 lbs! I feel so gross!!
My goal is to get back on track (which for me is just eating healthy most of the time and exercising 3 or 4X a week); not beat myself up when I've splurged; and *hopefully* lose 10 lbs by my shower (which is in mid-August).
I hope to do half as well as everyone on this thread seems to be doing!!

Back from the gym, 60 min of the elliptical. On the easiest setting, but I have to start somewhere!

Re: 05 diet support group?
Omg. I can't believe it tastes GOOD!!!! I'm eating a Lean Cuisine- Beef Portobello and mashed potatoes. I usually stay away from frozen beef dishes- they taste like rubber. But this one sounded too good to pass up, and it's yummy!!! Actualy beef, no rubber. And 4 WW points, for those on WW.

Re: 05 diet support group?
Ok so I just got back from the gym. I did 50 min on the elliptical and no weights. Tomorrow I will do weights and cardio. Today is Day 10 on Atkins and I havent lost or gained a single pound and I have been following it to the 'T' so I dont know what the deal is BUT, I will not let this discourage me!
the train messed up my workout. instead of doing cardio and weights...i just did weights

That's better than nothing. I hit the gym this morning too. I wanted to sleep, but made it there.

Re: 05 diet support group?
Yesterday was the first day in awhile that I was back on track with my eating. I also went to the gym last night and worked out with my trainer (weights mixed with some intermittent cardio). I feel so much better already. Hopefully I can keep it up!!
Today I plan to do a yoga class - and eat healthy!
