07 - 08 RH Quotes

Please Ladies Pleeeeaasseee.
I need quotes. I hope to get married 12/07 or 01/08 . .everyone is making feel as if time is running out. I've only visted 1 RH which was Fox Hollow.
They quoted me:
December - Friday & Sunday - $79pp
December - Saturday - 105pp

Please, if you have visited any RH . .please tell me a quote for a similar time.

Someone told me that Foz Hollows can go as low as $55 pp in January . .is this true ?

My friend got the garden room at Fox Hollow (I think that's what they call it) for $95pp for a Saturday in November '07.

ETA: She guaranteed 120 people which I believe is their max for that room.

I think some halls, not all halls, though, lower their prices after December- for like January and February? They used to do that because it was a less popular time to get married, but now-a-days who knows because we have brides getting married all the time!!! I haven't looked at halls in a while, but I can tell you that the prices are not lower in the month of December. You will however, get lower rates for Fridays and Sundays, as well as afternoon weddings- as compared to a Saturday night rate.

Most halls lower their price Jan. Feb. March (hence why I picked March) The prices you got quoted sound really good!!!!! I'm paying 85pp no tax no gratuity with Venetian for a Sunday this March. I thought that was a great deal!

Some halls are a little more in NOV/Dec bc your competing with holiday parties, etc.....

Also, you pay for the decorations & carolers (sp?)!!!!

I looked at several places, Milleridge, Carltun in the Park, Carlyle on the Green) and they all showed me prices that were either May-October/November and December-April.

All of them were cheaper in the December-April range, by at least 10-20/head for a Sat. Fri was even cheaper.

None of them told me we had to pay for decorations (in fact I am saving a lot of $$ because my RH is already decorated beautifully, and so is the church) Carolers I'm sure you would pay for...

I know you asked about specific prices, but I don't have them any longer...however, the Milleridge (gorgeous during the holidays) was a serious contender b/c their quote was very reasonable. Check them out.

You definitely have plenty of time - I got engaged less than two months ago and the only thing major we have left the book is the limos and hair/makeup. I did not have trouble finding vendors with availability, including RHs. Only one photog I was interested in was booked.

Can't remember any prices off of the top of my head - sorry!

#1 The main reason should get your RH booked asap is for the simple fact you wanna get the date you want, cb they book up fast so don't feel so overwhlmed. I am getting married 10/07 at Fox Hollow and up to date they have been great to work with. And whatever they quote you is w/o tax and gratuities so 79 may not sound bad but with all the extras and if you want seat covers, extras at cocktail hours it adds up. I am paying app. 143 a head there for Friday night wedding, that incluyes extra sea food boat and lobster tails at CH and seat covers.

Good luck!!!!
