07 bride needs some advice from 06 brides

So I know I have over a year until my wedding, but FH and I are trying to get 'little things' out of the way now that we can.

I def want to do a tote for my BM as gifts. But I'm so torn as to what to put in. Here's what I have so far:
- Makeup case with essentials in it (nail file, buffer, tweezers, etc - no makeup though - don't want that)

-'Bridesmaid' book - has cute pics in it and nice little sayings

-Jewlery (each girl will get a necklace and MOH will get necklace and earings)

Any suggestions? If anyone did this as a gift, could you share what you put in yours? Thanks!

i am doing the dyeable bags instead of totes, just to lessen the expensive for the bm. i went to macys and got beautiful necklaces for a great price. if u live near attias or tri-county, u can try that too. good luck

I like your thoughts, but be careful buying anything this early that can't be returned. I'm stuck with personalized stuff from people that dropped out. It's good to plan and have things ready. (Trust me, I was buying stuff 18 months in advance too) Get your vendors done and plan your details. Good luck!

BTW, in addition to other things, I got my girls a pedicure set. Many cute sets go on sale around the holidays.
