07er has a quest! rsvp cards, did you put the line '____number attending'

On the rsvp card, I have two lines, one that says accepts with pleasure and the other says declines with reget.

then it occurred to me, am i supposed to include a line for ' ___number attending'

not all guests were were invited with a guest. and some members are allowed to bring children while others are not.
i guess the number attending line will let me know if they plan to bring their kids or not but i also don't want people that were not invited with a guest to think they can by accounting for them..

who did or did not include a number attending line?

what do you think?

i dunno how others did it, but i had a line that said:

___ of _#_ attending.

and I wrote in the #. some had 2, some had 4, some had 1, depending on that particular guest and how many were invited, so that they wouldn't exceed how many can come.

Nope - I didn't put that line about # attending b/c it gives some people the option of being pushy (for example if they have kids they want to bring that you did NOT invite) and putting down more than you invited.

I know a lot of LIW brides don't use this line for that reason!
Glad we didn't - we had no issues with not having the line.

We had number attending because we had family members that decided to come without their teenage kids. Also, some decided not to bring guests. So if a single person is invited with a guest, how would you know if they are bringing their guest or not without that line?
