Soooo for all those brides that are working on their dance song list for the band or DJ....
What are your must have songs, to keep the guests on the dance floor all night ?????

There are so many songs. I just have so much on my mind at the moment. I will post more when I am able to think. I hope that I helped a little. I am a dance teacher.

Anything 80's seems to work. Like old Madonna stuff, Go-Go's, etc. Every age group can get into it.

i think that it's hard to say, because everyone has such different taste in music.
i know that for us, we don't want ANY 80s music at all, while others LOVE that.

This is one thing I do not want to take control of. The band or DJ you hire. if they are true professonals should have this under control. I will give them first our song and music for all the traditional moments and a must play list of maybe ten songs. They have a better feel for what gets people dancing. Not everyone likes the music I like, to play it safe you go with the proven hits. Just another thing I don't want to worry about. My cousin who used to DJ always says a bride can ruin her own wedding by trying to take control of the play list.

I keep a notebook in my car with me, and anytime a song comes on the radio that I want to remember to add to my DJ list I jot it down. It really helps!!
