08 Bridal shower!!

ok so if you dont know what im talking about ill sum it up the best i can...

I think it would be so much fun for one of our GTG in oct, nov, or dec. (whatevers best) to make our GTG where we rent out a room at a resturant and make it a bridal shower for the 08 girls!! kinda make it a 'secret bride' (instead of secret santa) you each submit your name and one place your registured to me or whoever wants to be in charge.. then each bride will have a bride to buy for. then at the shower we all swop gifts. play silly games.. have decorations, favors the works i think it would be so much fun.. and if we do a brunch/ or lunch it would be much cheaper..we could prob pull it togther for 30-40pp

im open to suggestions for EVERYTHING... including resturants.

but the point of the poll is just to see how many people would be DEF interested in participating.

I can make deserts if we are having it at a vfw or something like that I'll definitely make some goodies. I can' even do weight watcher deserts...

i think we should try to set a date in as much advance as we can this way we can all mark our calanders now (or as soon as we decide). ( i am assuming everyone is pretty free as of now in Oct. of 07). I just feel like if it starts to get too close we are going to have a lot more trouble agreeing on a date since everyone will be starting to have other things going on. if we do it soon people will be able to plan around it better and/or take off work if need be. anyway, my vote is for a sunday afternoon!

mg this is a really cute idea...count me in....and omg I'd be sooo happy if it was to be at Milk & Sugar b/c I could just take a train there *I live in nyc and walk...
but just a suggestion can it be on a Sat or Sun?? I can't exactly take off work...im banking days for my hm

ok girls i will be calling a couple of plces tomorrow and on sat. this week has been really crazy... i work on sundays and i am totally unable to take off since i just cut back almost half my hours with school so im thinking maybe a sat. either morning afternnoon or night whatevers good.. or a sunday like 5pm...

as long as i know enough ahead a time a sat. is ok for me. i will just take off from work b/c it is SO worth it! lol! let me know if you need help! (i am sure u will)....or WHAT you need me to do!

I think this is a fab idea and would love to help in any way that i can - though I'll be in NC starting Aug. so I guess if I were to vote on a day i'd suggest a Saturday b/c I'd probably fly back Sunday - but whatever the majority decides I'll support either way!!!!

So let me know whatever help you might need Meg!!!!
