'08-er seeking advice from the wise been there done that -07-ers
I know this is awkward to discuss, but what range of $$ did you guys book with your photographers and videographers?? Starting that process. I am hearing from my '08-ers that they are in the $4-$6 range depending on # of photographers, etc...any help would be great...thanks...congrats girls...Us '08-ers are soooooo jealous!!

For both about $5,000. It will wind up being more after. We took the least expensive package my photographer offered and I will upgrade my album after the wedding to save on our up-front costs. HTH!

your range is about right but were paying a bit more than that for video and photos. This can really all depend on your package and the company you go with. I would say when we went to meetings with different companies we got qoutes between 6,000-12,000 for both video and photo. Good Luck with your search.

We decided against a video but our photog was just about 5K. Good luck and don't worry, your year will be here before you know it

my photography is costing me about $5k. My package includes: 2 photographers for 10 hrs of coverage. 1 album for FH & myself( i can't even remember which album we chose) 2 parent albums 75 thanks you cards with our picture printed on the front
My videography is costing me $2500.

I am paying $2500 for:
1 - 8x10 album with 46 photos 1 - 11x 14 pic 5 - 8x10 parent albums 100 thank yous Individual BP pics DVD with full coverage
We got a basic DVD - adds songs, no pics of us when we were babies or anything.

$1500 for two photographers and possibly an assistant all day, all pics edited and delivered on disc, no albums. $1000 for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music, with intelligent lights.
Book early, and you have a lot more time to negotiate!

That seems about right..
I paid far less than that, but I shopped around and Im not getting all the extras that a lot of the 07 brides are getting

I got a package for photos and video for $4,000. That includes three parent albums and the growing up, dating, and honeymoon photos on the video. We have one photographer, an assistant, and a videographer.
