08 shower gift...

i know that a lot of us didnt get to talk to our brides or vice versa so who was your bride, what did you give them and what did you get?


yelley stole all the gifts at our table so shes probably eating my waffles this morning, made with colleens wonderful wisk


my bride was Teenigirl and she got her Calphalon 5 piece bakeware set hope you like it Tina and FH

i got my waffle maker from Christineaaron08 THANK you (ill let you know how the waffles are when yelley returns it) haha jk

we had them this morning and they were awesome, FH loves you

MY bride was SKEETER

I got her a silver picture frame that says 'I DO' and a set of Cookie sheets!

Colleen had me and I got my OXO corn on the cob holders and my rotating 21 pc untensil set!!!

Meg(cherish83) had me and she gave me the 3 tier swivel buffet server, I LOVE IT and was surprised to get it, so thank you meg

My gift was from the lovely Espo & she got me (as she said above) - the Shark Mini Vac!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, on to the gifts:

I had Meggzie and I got her the Oxi cutting board off her registry.

And Soon2BMrsD got me my wonderful stainless steel utensils (on the registry) and a GORGEOUS wedding frame that wasn't on my registry. She must know my taste because it was right up my alley!!! Thanks, Meg!!!!!!

its funny bc i added about 20 things on my registry last week that were $25 and under to give my bride alot of options lol but this wasn't one of them, this was something fh and i registered for originally and we both loved it and thought it would be great for entertaining so i was really surprised.

Love your waffle maker, what a great gift... alot of girls got great gifts, a bunch of us last night were even saying WOW these are really nice gifts people got eachother, honestly i was thinking we'd all get like little things and looking around the room you saw the complete opposite.

It's beyond perfect honestly! We have a big apartment - but not a lot of closets - so the ones we have are STUFFED - so pulling anything out of the closet in order to get to the real vacuum is a chore in itself!!!

It was funny - my dad didn't understand the whole concept - he's like, i thought you were going to a shower - how did you get a gift? I had to literally explain the whole thing, show him the group pic...poor daddy - not used to the whole 'message board' theory..

oh i know, i hate taking my vacuum out of the closet too its so annoying, especially when you just need it for a quick clean up.
