hi girls i wanted to know when you ordered your dresses ive been told that im WAY to early but i really wanna start looking incase it takes me a while to find the one.. please let me know if you think im way too early

i ordered mine in Feb. 06 for my Feb. 07 wedding. it's still NOT in yet! i should have it by november, so it really only gives me a bout 2 months for fittings and alterations,etc. in the midst of the holiday craziness.
i think if you find something you like, ask how long the style will be available. if it's going to be around for awhile, wait and keep looking.... and then if it's still the one, go back and order.

I ordered my dress in Sept. of '05 and it came in this past March. The store i ordered it from is holding it for me until the wedding. HTH

I think it's ok to look but I really would not purchase a gown so soon. I think you have sooooo much time to look at alot of options and if you buy now you may see something better later unless you find the dress you just can't live without.

Depends where you go - the more specialty the place the longer it takes. I ordered mine from David's Bridal and it should in by December - but if you go to a small shop it could take a long long time!
