08ers I need your organizing help.

Hey ladies, with our wedding approaching in 4 months I have so much to do and need to get it together. I'm having a hard time Organizing everything. So I am asking for help can you FM me some helpful worksheets/ check lists to stick to and know what I should be up to as far as planning the wedding.
I'm also worried about the day of!!!!! did you have a DAY OF CHECK LIST???
Please help I'm getting NUTS.

Don't worry...we are here to help. Have you been using the wedding timeline on this website and also on theknot.com. I used those 2 and also my diy's were helped with marthastewartweddings.com's checklist. It's good to cross reference.

For my organizing, around the 4 month mark- I had 2 lists. 1 list was a general wedding list for 1 month (my first one was April). The second was my regular to-do list for the week. On that I had my everyday stuff like paying bills, work stuff and the wedding stuff I wanted to accomplish that week. It helped me break it down so it wasn't as overwhelming and giving myself a timeline really helped.

For the guestlist/invitations,etc. I have an excel spreadsheet. It's landscape with about 12 columns. I am going to send you the blank one and you can fill it out. As soon as I was getting all ready to do invitations, I printed the whole thing out landscape and attached all 6 or so pages to a piece of posterboard. This seriously was the BEST thing I ever did while planning my wedding. It was where I checked off when people responded and where I checked off that I'd sent a shower thank you. I will fm you the sheet. It's modified a bit from what other girls on here suggested because I tweaked it so it worked for me.

For my organizing, I have a binder with those plastic sleeves. Each sleeve is for a vendor. This has definitely helped me out a lot so I don't have to go searching for things. Anything that has to do with that vendor (pictures, contracts, etc) goes into the sleeve.

Keep a diary/calendar of when things are due. Most of our stuff is due the month prior. Our photographer and DJ sent us 'reminders' of when our payment is due and what they need from us. You should be scheduling your sample CP soon. Your invites will be going out soon. Everything will fall into place!
