I went to Pilatos on Northern Blvd. for my hair (near the 70's)>
I used Make Up Artist Ciara, she did my bridal party, my mother, aunts and mine make up. She is great. She travels to you. Her website is:

I used oksana and jen but for make up, lisa @ christie & co in the bay terrace shopping center does a great job

I am using a local girl (Astoria), who my sister used for her prom. Songstress and FutureMrsJ08 used her for their hair day of. I am going next thursday for a makeup trial. I'll try to remember and post pics.
Her prices are far more reasonable than others i've seen

I have gotten both my hair and makeup done at Christie & Co. in the past. They did a good job.
I did not use them for my wedding since I changed salons a few years ago.

Lauren and Joe from Dakotah Spa & Salon in Woodbury did hair and make-up for me at home.
I was just in a wedding on 9/20 and we did hair and make-up at Red Chair in Maspeth.

i used maureen and claudia Pedala. BUT i have used christie's & co(bayside) in the past to get my hair and make up done for other events. They do a great job and the prices are great. Not sure how much they charge for bridal hair and make up bc when ive gone it was for other things.
