For all the newbies... the past brides had a shower, and it was kind of like a secret santa, where each bride would buy something off of another brides registry, then we would all get together and exchange gifts, and have a good time. Last year LIW was there and donated some awesome prizes, and we also have gotten over 30 vendors to donate awesome prizes to raffle off to the brides of 09! ( THERE ARE SOME AWESOME DONATIONS GIRLS!} I hope everyone can make it , it will be a great time!



okay so kristina (tinadansr) and christine (dazie1011) did some research of some cheap places to have the 09 shower, they are all in nassau, to accomidate all...please select the place you would like to have the shower.
Im thinking middle october for the shower?

I am an Astoria girl. But I do believe I drove down it on my way to hofstra right?

Yes.....my FSIL lives in Astoria , my sister moved from there a few yrs ago. So if Im not mistaken you can take the Croos Island to Hemp. Turnpike and travel down, it's not that far from there. 2-3 towns over, I think

You can take the Grand Central which turns into the Northern State to the Meadowbrook to Hempstead Turnpike.
