'09er in need of opinion on Bourne or the Woodlands for final choice!

Hello ladies!

Congratulations on your wedding or upcoming wedding!!

I need some help selecting a location and thought since some of you had already had your weddings or are about too at potentially one of these locals you could give me your honest plus/minus thoughts on these venues:

The Bourne Mansion
The Woodlands of Woodbury

Any feedback and/or help is greatly appreciated!! Please feel free to FM too!

Best,
Jess

I'm getting married at Bourne in August so I can't give you a complete opinion yet, but, so far everything has been beyond fantastic..

I have been to the woodlands and everything was amazing !!!! Our edding is at the WSCC which is the cottage to the Bourne Mansion...Bourne charges a site fee...does the Woodlands ? Also, which is more convenient for you and your guests.

We got married at the Woodlands and its was amazing!!! Almost six months later, people are still telling me how great the food was etc.. My sister and her fiance are chefs in the city and they were both blown away with the food!! Good luck and have fun!!!

My friend got married at Bourne two years ago- it was beautiful and the food was good and service was also good. Only thing was the site fee that was outrageous-- i think ($10k)- there are pics of her wedding in my album

That must be a hard decision as both of them look very nice!! I havn't been to either one. but based on their websites only, LOL, Id probably choose Bourne Mansion- Ive just always loved how that place looked- so elegant!!! But you probably can't go wrong with either place.

My other choice was woodlands , but they were booked for my day , so woodlands would be my choice !

I am getting married at the Bourne and can tell you that the site fee is no where near $10k. I paid $4,500.

I considered Woodlands as well, but the Bourne is more convenient for me and my family.

Good luck, they are both beautiful venues!
