I actually bought a hoodie he had a merch guy put on the side for him at a show. funny how things work out

Going to tag onto this as well.
FH and I actually met through my ex. THey were friends, and Ex started a medieval organization up here that we had been part of in Florida. I move to NY (no longer with Ex), FH and I start hanging out, then fall out of touch. (turns out ex was lying about me, but hey). We still saw each other at the Medieval Events, but didnt really hang out much. Fast forward a few year, he and his then GF break up, he starts hanging out with a friend of mine and myself, we realize how close we lived to each other, and started hanging out.
At the time I had a crush on another guy, and he was helping me with that, I found out the other guy was dating someone, and FH shows up to the show I was in with a big bouquet of flowers that night. Stupid me, I thought he was making the other guy jealous, my mother laughed at me for that. Week later, he asked me out.
I think I broke up with him 5 times in the first month, but he never took any of them seriously, and here we are today.

We met while we were in High School (but different high schools). We were on a YMCA leaders retreat when we first met but we didn't really acknowledge each other until a YMCA party in May 2004. We've been together ever since that day, High School Sweethearts, !

We worked together in a supermarket. It's funny, because at the time, we were friends with all of the same people at work and everyone secretly had bets going on how long we'd last. 8 years later, when we run into someone and tell them we're getting married, they're shocked, lol.
