Re: 1 or 2 photographers???

I had several reasons for getting 2:

I want traditional AND candid shots. The 2nd photog will take more photojournalistic shots during the reception.

ALSO, it gets dark very early in November, and my ceremony doesn't start til 5pm. I still want outdoor pics. so the 2nd photog with assist with the lighting, so my pics don't appear dark.

I am having 2. You won't miss a moment, if one doesn't catch something the other one will. Also, one is concentrating on the photojournalism and the other on traditional. While one is taking the bride and groom the other can take the BP and guests. You will get more shots of every moment.

We had 2 photographers. I was able to have pictures of both of us getting ready for the wedding, which I love. If we only had 1, then I could not have had these pictures. Also, the 2nd photographer was able to capture other pictures that were more photojournalistic while the first photographer took posed shots, etc.

I booked 1 so far. I definitely want the extra photographer, but I was trying to cut costs somewhere. This is the only thing I am back and forth about. Everything else FH & I cut out, I am fine with and have not even given it a second thought, but I really want the extra photographer. So I am 90% positive I am going to do it. I really want the shots of FH getting ready at the house with the guys (since I have the photographer coming to my house to take pictures), and the guests dancing and having a good time, and action shots.
