for those who have booked or are going to book. did you go for 1 photographer or 2? I keep hearing how 2 is wonderful because you get 2 different angles. I'm curious what other people decided on. so undecided :(

Re: 1 or 2 photographers?
Do what you feel comfortable with and what you can afford. Many photography companies usually shoot in pairs or at least with an assistant so double check with your company before you get too worried about it. Lovemore, Duet, Thomas Paul, etc.- they all work in pairs.
We actually wound up with 3! We booked with Duet which always shoots in pairs but there was a third assitant (who took fantastic pics, btw, some of my faves!) so it was a nice surprise. We had pictures from every angle and we definitely were able to capture moments that we may not have been able to if we had only one photog. Like this, for instance:
That's one of our FGs being adorable. This was while we were exchanging vows so while one photog was focused on us, the other was focused on the crowd and their reaction and they were able to capture this. It's one of my favorite photos ever.

I booked 2 photographers for all the reasons the ladies stated above. Plus photo (besides video) are the only visual memories you are going to have for a life time.

We have one photographer and an assistant also with a camera that will get different shots.
