1 or 2 photographers?

1 or 2 photographers?

for those who have booked or are going to book. did you go for 1 photographer or 2? I keep hearing how 2 is wonderful because you get 2 different angles. I'm curious what other people decided on. so undecided :(

At first I only had one. Then 3 months before my wedding I was able to budget for a second. It is so worth it besides different angles they are able to get more pics of things. For example one photog did my family pictures while the other got pictures of all the little details in my ceremony and reception room.

I didn't look into photography too much yet, but I think I'm leaning toward 2 photographers. If you plan on taking pics while you're getting ready, you can have 1 photographer with you and 1 with your FH in addition to getting more pics during the reception.

I have 2 photographers. You want to get both angles. They are both going to capture similar and different scenes.

I'll be the first to step forward and say I went with one photographer.

I'm budget conscious and space aware. My ceremony is at my RH and the space is relatively small, intimate whether indoors or outdoors. I will only be having between 100 - 125 guests, so I don't have a large wedding with tons of people.

As far as the familypics versus venue, both FH and my's family only wanted basic immediate family portraits. This works to our advantage, as we hate too many posed shots.

I also have a lot of friends with professional photography experience who will snap away - so.. i feel like I've got all angles thought of and covered.

thanks everyone :) decided to go for 2. now the hard part of picking which photography company....

i booked two as well. I want to make sure no moment goes uncaptured!

Check out RM Digital Photography. They are great guys, do great work and have reasonable prices.

I booked 2....my cousin told me after her wedding her biggest regret was having 1 photographers b/c she felt he missed alot.

We are having 2 as well. You should check out Studio 27. I really liked them.

We had 2 and I think it is totally worth it if it works with your budget and package.

I have 2. Check out T&T Studios. They are VERY budget friendly. I couldnt touch 2 photogs at any other photo company. Period.

We'll be having two, but we didn't actually plan on both - wasn't until we found our photog, fell in love with his work AND prices that he said a second shooter is always included!
