Hey Ladies, Our 1 year is coming up in Oct. and we are looking to celebrate. We are looking to go away for the weekend, somewhere in driving distance to keep the cost low. Maybe somewhere upstate, or out of state. As always I am looking to the ladies of Long Island to help me out. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

We went to Newport,RI for our anniversary, it was easy to get to and affordable. Great restaurants and scenery. Should be even prettier in October. FM me if you want info on the B&B we stayed at.

we're from queens so we went to long island for our anniv...didnt want to go too far, but wanted to go someplace we hadn't been...port jefferson
we stayed at a romantic b&b and spent time wandering around all the stores around the north shore there, also a side trip to the wineries.

I also recommend Newport, love it up there.
Being as it's October, if you're a little adventurous and don't mind going just a bit further, try Salem. It's a little kitsch, but it's definitely fun!
