10/4/02 Wedding Review... (LONG)

Hi girls!!! I'm back & here's my review...

The day started off cloudy & I now know that the weather forcasters DON'T HAVE A CLUE!!! We did manage to sneak in some pictures before the rain at Planting Fields, I'll post some pics when I get them.

I bought my dress at Bethpage's Bridal Boutique, they were so sweet, my dress was perfect!

Make-up was done by Jacqueline Nicole, she was so GREAT!! She made me feel like a princess, I would recommend every bride who wants to look her best to use her!

Limo was M&V Limo, they were EXACTLY on time and the drivers we had were really nice & did exactly as we asked, no problems what so ever.

The Chateau Briand...what can I say but WOW! They were ALL awesome!! Tom Wright our BM was VERY sweet and went out his way to make our rehersal & wedding the best ever! Our MD & attendants were all VERY helpful and always on top of things. The food was so YUMMY!! And there was so much of it, I was so full by the time dinner came around! They decorated the chapel so beautifully and Chaplain James Anderson was also very sweet and kind. Cake was deeeee-lish!!

In The Mix DJ's....EVERYONE, and I mean EVERY single guest commented on what a great DJ we had! They played every song we asked and they played a great variety which everyone of every age enjoyed! They did indivdual entrance songs for our bridal party & everyone got a real kick out of that! Plus we had them take digital pictures of our guests and they showed them on this large screen up front, kinda like when you're at sporting event & you see yourself up on the large monitor...it was like that, then at the end they put all the pictures together & made a music montage for us which was really neat! Then we got them on a cd rom to keep, this DJ company had so many neat ideas, we loved them!!!!

Video was by the PRO's....I'll let you know how that comes out.

Photgraphy was done by 'Rick Helman Photography' who is a good friend of mine, he was awesome, he did the pictures for free, all we're paying for is the developing which he's also doing for us, he's got a great eye & a great sense of humor, he made everyone feel at ease, no stuffy poses, it was actually fun.

We had a blast at the reception, the only thing that stressed me out was the fact that my so called 'friend' who I asked to be my matron of honor & who's wedding I was a part of and went the extra mile making it special for, decided not to bother showing up, no phone call, no nothing. I had a feeling she was going to do that because she had been acting like a real *itch up until that point. I don't get it, I didn't do anything to this girl, as a matter of fact I was the only one in her wedding party to do ANYTHING for her & this was the thanks I got in return. Oh Well....she didn't ruin my wedding though, we had a great time & no one missed her, we will never be friends again, her loss, not mine.

CONGRATS Sounds like everything was wonderful! I don't blame you about your matron of honor, I would no longer be friends with her either!! her loss!!! Congrats again

I am glad to hear that your (oops I left out the y in your!) day went great with or without your MOH. You obviously have seen the kind of person she is. At least you don't have to see her in your pics or video for the rest of your life!

I'm soooo happy to read your review. I'm happy you had a great time. The DJ sounds Awesome!! You are a lucky girl to have free pics!! I was wondering what happened to your MOH situation. She truly has issues. Good to hear she didn't ruin your day. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!

What a nerve of not showin up!!!! But well, now you know what type of person she is, and you had a great wedding without her!

Congratulations you look great together.Glad to hear everything worked out great for you.We also booked the Photos with the screen,and the zap photos think thats what they call it.Love a DJ that gives you so many different choices to choose from.Thats why i booked my Dj because they offered so much more different things then alot of other DJs.Have a happy life together
